Dr. Paul Sahni graduated summa cum laude from the University of Evansville in 1997 with a double major in biology and chemistry. He then attended Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 2001. During his time there he was inducted into the dental honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
After dental school Dr. Sahni completed his General Practice Residency (GPR) at Indiana University Hospital. This additional training strengthened his knowledge in pharmacology, medicine, pain management, and the treatment of medically compromised patients. Following the completion of his GPR, Dr. Sahni served his endodontic residency at Indiana University and the VA Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. In 2004 he received his certificate in endodontics along with a Master's Degree in Dentistry (MSD).
Dr. Sahni has been on staff as an assistant professor in the Graduate Endodontic Department at Indiana University School of Dentistry since 2004. There he is a member of the selection committee for the incoming endodontic residents and plays an active role in the clinical and academic education of the current endodontic residents. He is a licensed endodontist in the states of Illinois and Indiana, and a member of the American Association of Endodontics (AAE), American Dental Association (ADA), Illinois State Dental Society (ISDS), Illini Dental District Society (IDDS), and Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU). In his spare time Dr. Sahni enjoys playing golf and spending time with family and friends.
